A late Victorian/Edwardian treen egg rack, dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s which can hold up to 24 eggs on a single tier. Simple in construction and in a primitive and rustic style.
These racks were used in the kitchens of large country houses, where the cooks got through tons of eggs on a daily basis!
