Fine good quality Gilt French Jewellery box, decorated with high relief figural panels of 18thC scenes, that over time has developed an attractive dark patina. The wonderful relief panels depict rural scenes including, hunting, dancing, children playing and a pastoral scene, with cherubs at the clasp. The gilt box has its original peacock blue satin lining with a padded buttoned lining and sits on 4 pierced and decorative scrolling feet.

It is a lovely collectors piece but equally it would be lovely to use...
