A Fine Victorian Copper Jelly or Blancmange Mould, the largest example we have seen, measuring 10.5 inches diameter.
The Copper has a wonderful geometric pattern with a beautiful aged patina. The inside of the mould is tinned, in order to stop the copper reacting with the acids in fruit ingredients.
The mould has been constructed in 2 parts. The central cone is joined by crenelated brass braising. There is also a small ring to hang the mould on the wall, when not used. A fine looking piece.
